Welcome to In His Circle
Welcome dear Circle Sisters! We are so grateful that the Lord has guided you to our community, and we eagerly look forward to deepening our connections with you.
In 2023, this idea was first planted during heartfelt "driveway chats" with my friend Mary. There were SO many wonderful conversations and healing through the Lord’s word; I encouraged Mary to start a podcast with me. This idea blossomed into a companion eZine, aimed at empowering women through faith. Together, we recorded 24 podcast episodes, which are still being released, each one a testament to our mission.
When I moved to Tennessee in February 2024, Mary decided to take a healing break for time with her family. During these months, I have prayed, regrouped, and expanded into a new circle of women across the USA who also walk in faith with the Lord. This journey inspired the renaming of both the podcast and eZine to "In His Circle”. For those who have been with us from the beginning, you may remember us as "In His Hands" or "Periwinkle Pomegranate." While these platforms remain under the same loving umbrella, they now have a clearer, more focused vision.
My new home outside of Nashville has been a blessing, although the journey has taken longer than I anticipated. Trusting in the Lord’s timing, I have cherished the proximity to my sister Heidi and the creative time spent in her studio in Franklin, Tennessee. Having retired from my corporate career, I now have the freedom to explore my artistic passions in a new design studio on my brother’s 7-acre property. Living in my cozy 5th wheel nestled against a lush forest, I have spent these months discovering my true artistic self, beyond my lifetime of involvement in my momma Aleene’s glue business.
With Heidi’s support, I have found a love for ceramics and a renewed spark for creativity. My designs, now sold in various retail locations, include watercolors, stamping, monoprinting, and my latest passion, laser etching and silk screening. Recently, I joined a wonderful mastermind group of women walking in faith, which helps me thoughtfully consider how I spend my time. It’s easy to want to do it all, but I am reminded to pray and carefully assess my commitments, especially in my “retirement”. LOL!
